Om’Mas Keith

Grammy winning producer, lyricist, instrumentalist and educator.

Taking time off from his own album to help co-produce Frank Ocean’s highly acclaimed Channel Orange is something Om’Mas Keith would gladly do again. The Queens producer, lyricist, instrumentalist, and educator has found success mentoring and managing aspiring artists through Sa-Ra Creative Partners. Born to a musical family with his father as a jazz instrumentalist and mother a vocalist, Om’Mas grew up among the best artists in his genre. His education also includes studying at the University of Massachusetts with Max Roach and working alongside Jam Master Jay. Prior to entering the university, Om’Mas was an intern at RCA Label as a teenager.

Having worked with many popular artists such as Jay-Z, Rick Ross, Bilal, Jurassic 5, and many more, Keith gained popularity as a judge on P.Diddy’s MTV show “Making the Band”. More recently Om’Mas Keith came into the Red Bull Studios New York to produce Mobb Deep’s 2014 release The Infamous Mobb Deep. He also produced and arranged music for a collaboration with The Red Hot Organization, choosing Red Bull Studios New York as his base camp for recordings with legendary musicians Ron Carter and Gary Bartz. Keith can be found on tour throughout the U.S. and Europe as well as lecturing with Red Bull Music Academy.
